Wonderful Smoker
I did a lot of research on the different types of smokers that are available and am so glad I bought the Smokey Mountain Cooker. The first time I had ever smoked was a couple weeks ago with this unit and it turned out perfectly! I have had many gas grills {prefer lump charcoal when time allows }but this little grill outcooks all of them.I bought hose adapter for larger tank and rolling cart for my Q-200.I use this grill about 5 times a week.My wife started cooking on this grill and she has never used any of my previous grills.IT IS SO EASY TO USE !!It hardly ever has flare ups,only very small ones when using oil on fish,etc.I was amazed how evenly it heats the grill grate,there are no cold areas or hot spots either.It has a large grilling area for such a small grill.The more I use it,The better the food tastes.I have cooked fish,hamburgers,hot dogs,steaks,chicken,all veggies you can think of:all have been wonderful!!! would recommend everyone get one and see what you have been missing!!Anybody can use this grill ,no matter if you have never used a gas grill.When I am not smoking meat,Iam using my little WEBER Q

Amazing results!
I just tried my stovetop smoker and was amazed at the results. I've used a large outdoor smoker for years, and was skeptical about the stovetop smoker. I used it to prepare chicken breasts, and they cooked fast and were juicy and tender, and had just the right amount of smoke flavor. I'm looking forward to using my stovetop smoker for seafood and vegetables. It's a great way to add flavor to food, and a very healthy way to cook.
The smoker is constructed from heavy steel and is well made. I could smell the smoke as the food cooked, but it wasn't intense and there was no smoke in the house. I'll still use my outdoor smoker for batch cooking or for smoking large birds, but expect to get a lot of use out of the stovetop smoker.

Wonderful Grill for Steaks and Burgers
I use mine with hardwood charcoal -- this gets the temperature hot, fast. As soon as the charcoal is lit up I spread the coals outward, drop the grill on top (on the high side of the legs), and let it warm up for a couple minutes. Once the cast iron is warmed up the heat radiates evenly across the cooking surface. To check the temp, I hold my hand 4 inches over the top of the grill -- if I can hold it there for more than a couple seconds, it is not hot enough. Without adding charcoal, I usually have just enough time to do two batches on the grill.
For steak, I leave the meat on for four minutes each side. When I pull it off, it has a nice crispy crust, and a perfect pink inside. When I cook burgers, I leave them on five minutes each side. And, chicken, I'll take a boneless, skinless chicken breast and pound it flat with a fry pan before tossing it onto the grill (this prevents the common problem of dry on the thin end and too pink on the thick end). Four minutes each side, and when the milky juice flows out when pricked with a fork, you know that it is perfect and juicy. I cook fish in a similar fashion. A little flavor tip: Some coarse kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper added to your meat before cooking is usually all you need to have excellent results.

Now, for roasting or smoking, this is not the product for you. Since there is not a lid it would be impossible to cook a whole chicken, for instance. Buy a weber for that. But a weber will never acheive the kind of perfect steaks and burgers that you get from one of these.
We have had our grill for three years now. It has lived outide our home the entire time in all kinds of weather - rain, snow, ice, or sun. And I was grilling in all conditions. I have performed absolutely no maintenance -- never oiled it, never cleaned the ashes. It seams perfectly happy in this state of useful neglect.

Great for evening grilling!
I got this neat little grill light for my husband, who sterotypically, does all the grilling at our house. We grill year round and it is often dark when he is trudging outside with a plate full of lamb chops. He has either used the light spilling out from the kitchen or used a head lamp in the past. This grill light has a pretty strong magnet on it and can just attach to the grill or onto the spatula or whatever your using to flip. He loves it and often just holds onto it rather than attaching it to anything when checking the meat. I like it, because it is easy to grab from the grill drawer to use to light the path when I am taking the recycling out.

The wood on handle is nice and strudy. The length is great to reach to the back of most grill without getting burned. The heads are fully threaded, not just a "twist and lock" that seen to always wear out. The mop an ideal size for mopping those ribs, the brush is round and holds sauce nicely

Impressive but not perfect
First, the advertisement says it has a 'nonstick aluminum cooking surface'. The instruction manual says it's a coating called quantanium. I purchased it for the (assumed less toxic) aluminum but it appears to be some kind of coating. It does clean unusually easily however.
The timer sounds a bell but doesn't shut off power. All that metal gets fairly hot. Can't move it as easily after use as my Hamilton Beach grill. The drip tray is of excellent quality but is 14 " long and so could be easier to handle and clean.
It does work properly. It does have extra features like the variable temp and the center pivoted top plate.

Like other reviewers have said, these are a high-quality, well designed, last a lifetime product. They are so nice I actually look forward to using them. They are worth every penny. I like to grill over a wood fire, and the Super Skewer has no peers. The twin, thin, SS tines are easy to load, won't split the veggies, and the food stays put when you flip them. The wood handles keeps the burn cream in the cabinet. They are nice and LONG to bridge a gas grill with the grates removed, or to hold wieners and marshmallows over a campfire.

I bought both the regular and the heavy duty (thicker tines) super skewers and love them both. The regular are fine for standard kabobs, the heavy-duty will hold just about anything else you may want to grill. I am going to experiment using two or three skewers side by side (4to 6 tines) for roasts, whole birds, or maybe even fish.

If you know someone that kabobs, they would be shocked at the quality of these compared to what they are probably now using (hey, give a gift - get an invite to a great BBQ) Maybe the best thing about the super skewers is that they are made in the USA by a small business. Nice probe
I actually got this to measure the temperature of the water in my kettle for making coffee and tea. I drilled a small hole in the lid of the kettle and insert the probe, which reaches down into the water. It works well and seems to be accurate and stable. Just what I was looking for.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I burned my arms taking food from the hot oven. Although I had pot holders at the time, they did not cover my arm to my elbow. I literally have scars on both arms from these accidents. Bought these gloves last month and they are fantastic. Last night took a 12" cast iron skillet from the oven that was super hot. Totally Awesome
I bought the refurbished model, and it has been fine. I visited all of the stores in my area to check out the models available, and even the high-end grills from companies like Calphalon were, in my opinion, kind of crappy at best.

I have a Breville juicer which is great, so I decided to take the plunge. I have to say, this machine is totally worth the extra money.

It's big. A monster, even. It's well made. I've been involved in the restaurant trade, and the quality is just a touch shy of professional. It has some very nice features, including a depth adjustment, tilt adjustment, and a nice long channel for catching drippings. You can open it flat and use it as a griddle.

Only a few nits:

The plates are not removable. Not that big a deal.
One of the plates is ridged, and the other is smooth. So you have to think about whether you want lines on both sides of your food and plan for that. Also, in flat griddle mode, you are realistically only going to use one half as a true griddle. Although it's so big that it's not such an issue, and you can certainly use the ridged side for meats.

It locks shut and stores upright, so you can store it away easily. There's even an ample spindle for the cord.

It draws 1800 watts, so you're not going to want to share a circuit with too many other appliances. It gets hot fast and stays hot, which is really essential if you actually want to cook anything other than grilled cheese sandwiches.

The most interesting thing: I've been baking 12" pizzas! Just set the depth so the top plate is as close as possible without touching, set the heat on high, and go. They come out perfectly. I generally use a pizza stone on the Big Green Egg, but this is a great alternative that doesn't involve lighting a fire.

Excellent BBQ tool set
I was searching for a BBQ tool set that provided length (I have a large grill and it can be difficult to reach across the entire surface) and quality. The Mr. Bar-B-Q 5-piece set not only met my requirements, but surpassed them while doing so at a great price.

The tools are very sturdy, especially the ends. They are made of solid stainless steel and are great at turning items on the grill. The length of these tools should also meet just about anyone's needs. There are two downsides (or rather comments) about these tools. One, the stainless steel tool ends are very sharp. Even the edges are rough and can cut just about anything. They should have been rounded a bit more. I can understand having the knife and one end of the spatula sharp, but every end on every piece is this way. So be careful about scratching other surfaces or cutting items (or hands). Second, the handles are not nearly as sturdy as the rest of the tools. They are a bit cheaper.

Overall, even with some of the downsides, I do recommend these tools. Great length and good quality, all at an affordable price.

A few things that stood out to me when I first opened the box:
- The thickness of the walls. I was worried it was going to be made from flimsy sheet metal, but I was mistaken. This is a good, study box.
- The handle is a useful feature. I didn't really pay any attention to this until I had to move it while I was grilling. One thing to pay close attention to is the height of the box. This box will not fit under my grate because it's too tall. So if you are looking for a box to sit on the flavor bars, make sure this box will fit your grill. I have been sitting the box on my grate and it is been giving me great results.

Big surprise in a small package
We grill at least 5 times a week during the summer and half as often during the rest of the year. Prior to our Weber Q 100, we used a large Weber, which is a great grill but we rarely cook for more than 2 to 4 people. The Q-100 is a great solution. It cooks equally well as our large Weber but uses far less fuel. ( We purchased the adapter hose to connect the unit to a large tank.) The small footprint and light weight makes the grill very portable and easy to place on our deck.

Unlike our large Weber, the Q-100 does not have a built in temperature gauge so we initially had to had to guess the appropriate flame height and duration. The enclosed Grilling Guide helped.

Best Grill we have ever owned
I'm not one for giving reviews, but I just had to write this. This grill is by far the best grill we have ever owned over the last 35 years of grilling! It's just my wife and I and we use it on our condo patio. I would have never believed that a grill could make so much difference in outdoor cooking. All prior grills would either have hot spots, get too hot or cold, extensive flareups which caused you to be watching over the grill constantly. With this grill, I have never had a flareup problem with anything I cooked. It must be the design of the grill and it also holds a constant temperature once you set it. I've learned a trick to only turn foods only once during cooking. This keeps the temperature more constant and allows the heat to cook from the top also. I must admit that I was skeptical about spending the money on this grill. After all, I have always been purchasing the cheaper grills due to the cost. So now I will say that this grill was worth every penny spent on it! Weber, great job on this grill!!!

Easy assembly, nice design!
Most of what I have read from other reviewers is spot-on. I echo a couple of the installation pointers from below - the two washers are used on the Phillips screws that hold the metal tank support in place. If you miss this, you will have leftover washers and be scratching your head wondering where you missed them. I do notice that their on-line manual now shows the washers in this part of the installation step, so hopefully it won't be an issue for you. And I also initially missed the axel. It was tucked into the bottom of one of the boxes. Overall the assembly was one of the easiest I have ever done. The design was solid and everything lined up perfectly, even when installing the four mount bolts for the grill shell base.

As others have mentioned, I'm a little surprised by the way the plastic "Weber" propane shield installs. I can picture this blowing away in a good breeze. We'll see.

I did pre-check to see what a replacement burner assembly would cost, and it came in at [...]. Why do this? Because I found out the hard way with my two previous grills that it's not the initial cost of the grill that matters, it's how long the burners will last, and what it will cost to replace them. We use our grill a lot, and our current one needed new burners (3 total) after just about a year or so. Cost? [...]. For burners. Small pieces of metal. With holes in them. [...] a piece. So this time I decided to pay for the quality of a Weber with the hope that the burners will last longer, and when I do need to replace them that I won't have to take out a small loan to pay for it.

I bought this grill for camping. I read the reviews, over and over, and over again, before deciding to buy it. I'm so glad I did. It grills great, and with the stove and griddle accessories, it's amazing! It gets very hot very fast. I also got the attachment for the big propane tank. This grill is amazing. That you can't grill with the top down isn't an issue for us.
As a stove, it's just like being at home! And the griddle accessory is great too.
It's starts right up with the push of a button. Cooks well, and clean up was easy. It's great that it has its own stand, moving it is a breeze.
Get the cover that goes with it. It holds the grill and all the accessories.

Great Multi-function Cooker
I had a Weber Kettle grill 20 years ago. I had no clue what I was doing, but I still got great results. Open the vents, put on the dome, and a little while later I had great food. But I got tired of waiting for charcoal to heat up, and went on to propane. I never got good results with gas. After wasting way too many years destroying food on gas grills, I came home to charcoal and Weber. This time around I know what I'm doing, and the Weber is giving me Fantastic results. The 22 1/2 kettle is a great all around cooker. It grills, sears, bakes and does a very good job of "low and slow" smoking. If you only have the room or desire for one cooker, get this one without hesitation. It won't smoke quite as good as a real smoker, but unless you're a perfectionist, you'll never know the differance. The 18 inch grill is a great cooker too, but because it's smaller it's harder to smoke on it. So if you have the room, get this model. The lid and bowls are built like a tank. I found the unit wiggles around where the legs attach, even though I assembled it correctly. The older ones don't wiggle. But that's progress. I don't think it's a problem though, just an observation. I was torn between 4-5 stars because of that. They have been building these forever, so assesories and replacement parts can be had easily.
Built solid, mutliple uses, food tastes great, easy to use. Not much else to say.

Weber Grill
I had alwayws wanted to get a barbeque grill ever since we bought our home last year. I had been debating between 751001 and 741001 for quite some time, finally decided to go with this one for its ash catcher and it turned out to be a wise decision. Installation of the grill was fairly easy even for me. We had three families of visitors when we tried it the 1st time, we cooked a lot of meat, pepper, corn and etc, it was awesome. We have used it three times already within the 1st 10 days after we received it, it's gonna get a lot more use this summer.

Great Little Grill
I've owned a Weber Go-Anywhere for a couple of years now and it's been a regular part of my outdoor cooking. Gets up to temperature quickly and is great for grilling simple stuff like salmon, chicken and sausages. The food doesn't taste *quite* as good as my mesquite-fired kettle BBQ but the Go-Anywhere also doesn't take 30 minutes to fire up.
The piezzo lighter flaked out on my Weber a couple of months after I bought it but it's pretty easy to light with a match. As another review mentioned, they do rust pretty quickly but they're really sturdy and basic. It grills as well as it did when I first bought it.

Strongly recommended for folks looking for a small, no-nonsense (or frills) gas BBQ.

When I first was going to buy a charcoal grill I knew it was going to be a Weber, so I ordered the 22 1/2 kettle gold one touch, and every grill accessory to go with it which came out to about $275- then I saw the price on this one and at first a little scared to spend that much on a grill but said what the heck, cancelled the other items and ordered this one and man am I glad I did! This is the mother of all Weber Grills! Gas starting comes with the charcoal baskets,large side table,storage under the grill,Tuck-Away lid holder,tool holder,charcoal bin storage. Starting this thing is SO EASY with the gas ignition I couldn't believe it! I can't say enough to buy this grill! My only problem was which Grill cover to buy because the measurments on the ad says that it's 50inches long which is NOT the case it's really 43 inches long- Weber 9911 Premium Full-Length Heavy-Duty Vinyl Cover is the one you want for this grill also the Dark blue color is really more purple than Dark Blue BUT it might darken over time and use, AND Weber changed the propane tank from the 5lb refillable to the disposeable ones- 16.9oz or the 14.1oz that can be used on the Weber Q grill- I hope I answered any question you might have had with this grill and two words sums up this grill-

Great Indoor Grill
Well I bought this for my Dad for fathers day, however they shipped it to me instead of him. Thanks to great Amazon customer service they did an overnight Saturday shipment for free to my Dad and got him his. One thing about Amazon they have the best customer service anywhere.

So I decided to keep the one they accidentally shipped to me, since it was already here. I have used this several times now and am pleased with it. Especially on days I don't want to go out and fire up the BBQ. Exhaust fan over the stove on and there was no sign of smoke in my house at all. Even with it off there is very low smoke. Keep in mind there is no smokeless indoor grill, dispite what they say. Like any cooking, if something is too hot it will burn and smoke.

The heat is dispersed pretty well on this grill without noticeable hot spots. Clean up is a breeze....make sure you put some water in the bottom of the drip catch tray.

The only thing I could complain about is the tempature setting between 300 and 425 is very small and hard to dial in. Maybe its not a huge difference, more practice will tell.

Very good value for the money.

Best Grill ever
I think I bought mine 10 years ago. I have replaced the guts twice; had my husband weld a copper pot bottom on it to replace the bottom when it got week from use; I just cleaned it this week with oven cleaner and replaced the briquettes; I have had to tell my son who lives nearby that "No" he can't have my grill; I am going to order another set of guts and a new plastic cover today. The size is just right for a small deck-super easy to clean. If I get another grill, it will be another one of these and maybe my son can have this one! I have transported it to other locations and it is easy to carry and move since it is not so big. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

Everything that has been said is true. This is perfect for those of us who just need to trim the edge of your lawn or clear some overgrown weeds, but it is no bush hog. It comes with two batteries, each of which probably lasts 15 minutes peak on heavier jobs and maybe longer or lightweight edge trimming. We find this sufficient for our 1/3 acre property, though it usually requires both batteries as we tend to wait too long to trim.

If you buy this expecting the power of a gas trimmer, you will be disappointed. If you want a trimmer that just works and makes your yard look great, you will be very happy.

We had a Toro gas trimmer that was highly recommended by Consumer Reports for years and I could never start it without the help of my husband. This was very frustrating to me because I primarily care for the gardens. Now the gas powered one sits collecting dust because we both use the battery powered Black and Decker.

My main gripe is probably that it is so unattractive and that it doesn't go out into the yard and trim without me.
